Use a plastic or glazed flower pot -- terracotta is permeable and the photo will be ruined eventually. You also want to apply this to the OUTSIDE of the pot, not the inside, with a window. Use sticky foam tape to create a cushion around the size photo you want to use -- on top, bottom, and one side. Leave the other side open so the photo can slide in and out. You don't want to slide the photo in from the top, as water will also trickle in. Then glue a flexible frame to the foam (magnetic fridge frames are suitable, or make your own from materials which suit your fancy, as long as you can apply it to a curved surface). Crazy glue is water soluble, so use rubber cement, or modelling glue. A hot glue gun has the potential to melt the foam tape, but I think you can use a low temperature glue gun, as long as you apply it first to the frame, not the foam. I think even fabric glue/paint would do the trick, act as "caulk" even, but it needs to cure for 24 hours before you do ANYTHING ELSE with it. The window to protect the photo can be as simple as sliding the photo into the pocket of a binder photo album page, cutting it out without tearing the plastic from the paper, and sliding the whole thing into the frame. That's a really great idea, Lisaann.

This is a fantastic idea. It's unique and original. I might try it and if I don't have time to do it for Christmas, it could also make a great Easter Gift (Of course, there's the magic bean), but you know, it would also make a good birthday gift. Wow!
