Picture of Hairy Moose Knuckles

Well, me and the wife have been busy round here. I made the post and she painted the mailbox and washtub, then we both planted all the purty flowers. Hope you like it, we do. And, It's just in time for some seed trading!

Nice mailbox and planter! I have to do something about mine. It's very nicely painted but it has the name of the lady who lived much of her life in this house and I kind of hesitate painting over it.

I've been known around town as the guy who moved into Mrs. "L's" old house, though now people call me the guy with the huge garden at Mrs "L's" old house.

Hey Wayne, don't feel bad. I've been here six years and when people introduce my they still say "You know, she lives in Mrs. H's house."

Great job on the mail box project Mr & Mrs HMK.

Isn't that great? DH and I are often introduced as "the folks who bought Killian's house." Or Mr. H., who was a retired farmer who lived there for quite a few years. We bought from his son, who renovated it before selling.

Oh yeah, and I love the mail box--wonderful team effort. Too bad mine is smack in the middle of several in a nice neat row in our nicely, neatly in-a-row neighborhood of houses. All that shows is the front, and if you are taller than a fifth grader, you can see the top too. Not much room for creativity, and not enough creativity in the wrist with a brush. Go figure! Great paint job and planting. But you misspelled "Charley". Big Grin
