I use rosemary with either carrots or potatoes. I cook carrots til almost tender. Then they go into a caserole dish with butter or margarine and rosemary. Bake 350 for about 10 minutes.

Potatoes can go on a cookie sheet, spray with olive oil and rosemary. Bake 350 til done. Potatoes could be parboiled also.

Have a great gardening day!

This is a thread I will have to refer back to again and again - so many wonderful Rosemary recipes to try!

I have tons of Rosemary. Mostly I use it in a pot of simmering water to scent the house. Also use it in a cheesecloth bag in bathwater.

Just to add one more idea to this thread... rosemary is divine in a winter omlette. My rosemary is planted in pots that come inside when the weather turns cool. There is absolutely nothing like an egg, cheese, and rice dish with fresh rosemary in the middle of winter. Nothing! Big Grin

I was watching Oprah yesterday, and Dr. Oz said rosemary was good for learning--wasn't it Shakespeare who said rosemary was for remembrance?

You should always have a plant B.
