Parsley. Can't make potato salad or soup without it. And we snack on sprigs right in the garden.

Basil. Hands down.

I use chives & cilantro a lot too... but I'd give it all up for some good basil!

I don't really use many, just chives and once in a while, sage. But I like to grow them!

I especially enjoy chives now because I have a plant growing in a pot on the bay window. It is really nice having something fresh this time of year. Happy Gardner

I definitely use more Thai basil than any other, followed closely by basil, when tomatoes come in. I probably use cilantro in more types of things, but I don't (more like CAN'T) grow that.

I'm a salsa maniac, so I can't live without my cilantro. But I love pesto too, so I guess I have to bow to basil as well.

I can't say I have a favorite because it will always depend on the seasons & what I'm cooking.

I'd have to say that for year-round use I use fresh Thyme, Italian Flat-Leaf Parsley, & Cilantro the most. In the summer, the basils (regular, lemon, & lime) tend to take center stage. Fall adds more Sage to the mix.

Chives--because I don't seem able to kill them and they just add some jazz to anything I sprinkle them onto. But like many others, I find it hard to beat basil.

Chives are on second number in my list because they keep their lovely green color when cooked so they make a fancy addition to butters for an aromatic blended topping for corn on the cob, pasta dishes or garlic bread.
Its Good

Lovage is a favorite herb of mine that I dry and use in several herb blends.
Every summer I dry about two quarts.

Lovage is great !
It is effectual in healing ailments such as poor appetite, indigestion, bronchitis, gas and colic (pain in the abdomen). Lovage also possesses considerable diuretic and antimicrobial properties and hence it is normally administered for healing urinary tract problems

The list of my favorite herbs is so long Smiler
