Has anyone ever heard of a small compost shredder that was hand cranked or even that could be hooked up to a bicycle sort of gadget for shredding my real light garden stuff?

I've not seen any, yet, and a quick search did not find any. You may need to develop one yourself.

The sign of a good gardener is not a green thumb, it is brown knees.

Well, back in the day, when my 2 kids were small and a wife who wasn't working, I used a machette and cut up everything by hand sitting on a stump. I wish there was a hand driven shredder available then but since I now have a gas powered one, I guess I wouldn't need one. Sorry, no can help

Hey, WandaK! How have you been? How's the family? --J--

You should always have a plant B.

We are all good mostly. I keep battling cellulitis in my feet & ankles. I think it is back again. A lot of time off my feet. Xander is a joy & growing like a weed. Because of the cellulitis, couldn't continue to care for 85 year old MIL so had to put her in a board & care home. Really missed all of you.
