DD just called & said her Mexican Heather is not doing well. I don't know if this means it has the sniffles or what. Can anyone tell me the plant's likes & dislikes?

I likes Mexico. Dry, poorish soil and it needs a rest in the winter, so it tends to look kind of skanky. A nice trim and an increase in water with a little extra bone meal, greensand, and compost or manure tea and it should perk right back up.
