I was raised on raising kennebecs and Irish potatoes. But we don't eat a lot of potatoes here. I was wanting to try the Viking Purple potatoes. What is your opinions on the Viking Purple or any other unusual potatoes. The Viking Purple's insides are white, not colored. I was just going to get one order and plant them in a "spare" place.

I vote that you try them and then tell us whether you liked them or not.
This can be another experiment for you and a benifit for the rest of us without all your space to try so many things. And PLEASE keep us updated. Any experiment is of value, if you post updates!
Always look forward to your posts!

Okay, I'll order them tomorrow. I haven't had to cut the potatoes to plant them ... in 25 years or more. I may have some questions. In fact the last potatoes I planted here, my Dear Bill cut the spuds. I planted them.
