Shouldn't my lavender be showing some signs of life by now? Everything else is greening up here in zone 6, I'm afraid it didn't make it through our mostly mild winter. Same goes for the polemonium.

Hi Dee,
It's hard to say. The first year I bought lavenders, I tried several different kinds. Some made it, some didn't. I'm in zone 5 and mine lavendar plants are still looking dormant. If I remember right, it doesn't really take off all that early. I'd let it go for a while and see what happens. I did have a couple that barely clung to life most of spring and then seemed to snap back a little later. I think different types have different hardiness levels. Hopefully yours will pull through.

It depends on the variety of lavender. I have 2 different types planted...one variety is already starting to green up, the other ("Lady" lavender) is still not ready to wake up yet.
