Thank you all for the answer to my tilling/no tilling question. Think I'll do the no tilling next year as I already tilled this year then asked the question, some times I do do things backwards. (Oh well keeps hubby guessing). My garden is all compost material. Before I started my garden, (three years before), I started a compost pile of kitchen waste, grass clipping, dry leaves and a lot of horse manure from the local stables,(plus added more) about three months ago and just let it sit. I started planting about two weeks ago because the weather has been so nice, only a few day that were cold but no frost. So think my tomatoes that are still in the house (about 10in high) are about ready to go in the garden, don't think we'll have and more bad weather. So again thanks to you all and will talk to you later. Jackie
