Hey Mumsey I think it was you last year who said you used corn meal on your tomatoes to help prevent leaf dieease.How and when did you apply it? Just how effective is it? Also can you buy it in bulk some where? Thanks MJ

Sorry, I only get here on my days off.
Here's what I do:
One handful of bonemeal One handful of cornmeal 1/4 handful epsom salts 1/2 handful powdered milk
I don't measure except by handfuls. I consider my hands small, so adjust accordingly.
Put this whole mess in the hole, mix it up really well with the soil. Plant tomato.
About six weeks after planting, I work in a little cornmeal and powdered milk around the plant, leaving some on top of the soil. I add a little fish emulsion at this point.
Depending on how the plants look, I may do it again mid-summer and that's it.
