In my garden:

1. the last of the roses
2. purple sea lavender
3. lavender
4. purple fountain grass
5. sweet alyssum
6. tagetes limonii
7. 4 o'clocks
8. pansies
9. jade, aloe vera and other succulents

All over the city, plants I don't have:

1. pointsettia (several neighbors have large-12' tall?-specimens
2. bougainvillieia
3. birds of paradise
4. forget the rest, will post when I remember!

Here in Atlanta, I have flowering uince, (my cue key is broken), lenten rose, candytuft, lorapetalum, osmanthus.

around town i have seen different camellias, and strangely - daffodils.

Under the very light snow cover the primrose are in blossom.



The sign of a good gardener is not a green thumb, it is brown knees.

There is one clump of narcissus in my yard that is putting out buds but they're a week or so away from blooming.

I do have several dandelions coming up in the yard tho'!

Only thing green up here right now is the traffic lights. Wink -7F and dropping. Forecast low is -12 with a forecast high tomorrow of 0. We're the warm spot around -- neighboring towns are forecast for up to 10 degrees colder. Looks like it'll be a short one, though -- just a few days (and this isn't really cold yet for us).

Can't do lavender in this climate. Frowner
