Could anyone enlighten me concerning the proper ph for pawpaw trees? I live in zone 6 and the 2 I planted last spring did not survive.

Thank you

The pH range (neutral to slightly acid) is only one factor. Deep, fertile, well draining soil with lots of organic matter is needed. Seedlings or small plants are not tolerant of full sun until more mature.
