I'm going to bump this up. The Master Gardeners were all excited about Sustainable gardening last night. I think our group is planning a field trip to a site. There was a lot of talk about somebody living near Athens, Ohio, who is living "Totally off of the Grid" by having his own water source, using solar power to electrify his home, etc. etc.

Any of you fellow Buckeyes know about this guy? I know there have been some of you on here who have a connection with "Athens, Ohio"

Linda, I've been having increasingly frequent daydreams about what I could do with 2 & 1/2 acres I own in the country. This is sure to throw gasoline on that fire, hehe.

Now, if I could find the cojones to make the leap and act on it...
