I just went out to thin my peaches and found on some branches a gray looking almost like epoxy type material that when I took off appeared to have some sort of eggs in it. What is it and what should I do? New to this site Thanks in advance.

Good luck with them as there is nothing better than going out in the yard and picking one in the morning and eating it while you work the garden.
