Okay so I'm in my new residence and I'm working on my front garden... it has some rhodadendrums some ornamental grass and I'm going to add some marigolds to pick out my stained glass window colors... I have a lambs ear in one spot that I'd like to split so it is in two areas... is that possible?

Thanks,

Maranda

Absolutely. Depending on the size you can get as many clumps as you feel are viable. Just try to do it on a cloudy day. If it's drizzling a bit, all the better. I save all my major dividing and transplanting for those kind of days. Did a lot this weekend and once the torrential rain stops here, I'll hit the garden again. Have some foxgloves I started from seed last year that are getting a bit potbound and want to plant them and a daylily that needs moving before it starts budding out.

Go for it! Big Grin

Thank you for the information... I was going to move it to a shady spot but I think I'll keep it up front just on the backsides of my area... It is semi-sunny so I'll wait till it gets shady or rainy this week to do it.
