My colchicum are gorgeous in the fall, blooming with similarly colored mums. However, I need to move them to another location. Can anyone suggest the best time to transplant colchicum?

When they are dormant...if there is just a tiny bit of green remaining, you can transplant them...but don't wait until fall. Usually I transplant mine around midsummer.
