My high bush cranberries were infested with the viburnam leaf beetle last year. I am looking for a product that contains BT tenebrionis. I understand it is marketed under the name Novador. Does anyone know where I can find it? My local landscapers haven't been any help. Also! Is BT tenebrionis safe? If I can't find it,what are the alternatives for the larva stage. I have already pruned the bushes, removed what I think are egg masses, and used a dorment oil. Ultimately, I need to know how to get rid of the beetle later in the season but the larvae is due to hatch soon with this warm weather. Thanks for your help!

Similar although not identical to the Australian Elm Beetle but can be controlled using sticky traps.

From Ontario:

A source for what you seek:

Hope that this helps!

John, Thank you. ghorganics was a help. I am trying to decide how much I am willing to spend on an annual bases for 4 wild high bush cranberries. I used a dorment oil spray and pruned them early on. so far no larvae even though they are leafing out. dort
