Offer your non-Organic Neighbors some compost to try the OG way. Ask them to set asice the part that they put your compost into, just to try going OG. Remind them the the pests in the rest of their yard w/ go to the OG section to some extent (even tho the healthier plants w/ tolerate the pests better), so it won't be like they were totally OG, but if they do see improvment, they might go all the way.

Won't give you my addy! Don't need no more soil! My native soil is decomposed granite, w/ compost growing the soil for 40+ yrs! I can't get ride of the stuff that comes up from 6', like when I just dug up my new asparagus bed & I keep adding to it! My back wall used to be 6' high. Now it's 4' high, the dirt has grown that much & it's a 1/2 acre yard! In the front it's only grown a foot tho.

wish there was a demand for crappy little rocks, like the ones ALL OVER my garden. we harvest the bigger ones out of the pasture for landscaping. rock beds are easier to weed than flower beds!
horse poop I have, fortunately! never enough tho! most of my horses spread it around too much to scoop it up.
Hi Dirt, All kidding aside, I wish there was a way to ship that stuff. Are there any current (or former) UPS/Fed Ex employees with suggestions? There must be plenty of city residents who would pay almost anything for some. It might be what my compost bin has been needing. I can't get it to heat up for love, money, or cigarettes. Love, Jackie
Jackie, what I did through the winter was whirl my kitchen scraps in a food processor. When the pile thawed and drained, I got a steam burn on my hand when I turned the heap. I've never had heat like that before, EVER.
See the thread in OTF: HOLY STEAMING COMPOST, CAPTAIN!
