obx4ppsus,

Are you talking about Johnny's Select Seeds?

If so....they're usually in the top five of everyone's top 10 best seed houses/catalogs in the country. I know they rank second on mine. Fastest delivery and the most helpful staff. Yeah, some of their prices on certain items are high, but then some are lower. You've got to do some comparison shopping through a bunch of other catalogs. Then determine the shipping & handling on each for each one (lots of math...that's about my limit for the year Razzer)...cause that's the only way to save a few bucks on seed orders.

But, as I said, far as Johnny's reputation, quality, service, dependability....I can't recommend them highly enough!

"Well, take away my pruners and douse me in fish emulsion!" :O.........Here I thought you, obx4pupsus, were confusing Johnny's Selected Seeds with this company [Select Seeds] which you asked about. I confess to never hearing of "Select Seeds". THAT IS UNTIL....this very morning, as luck would have it!

Right there in the mailbox alongside the new (how's this for ironic) Johnny's Catalog .......was "Select Seeds: Antique and Heirloom Treasures, 2004" catalog!!!:^O

They prize themselves on not knowingly buying or selling any gmo seeds; are a member of mail order gardening association and (once again, rather ironically; and considering Kimm's recomendation to check them out on Gardenwatchdog)...the company makes specific mention in their catalog that they are ranked amongst the top 20 companies on the watchdog site! Smiler

Golly jinkees.....just what I need.....ANOTHER SEED/PLANT/BULB CATALOG! Well, good news for my gardening-imagination, but potentially bad news for my charge card! Razzer

BTW: They mention nothing about email confirming an order. Usually, most co's will ask if you want one or you have to request it yourself. If they didn't ask, and you didn't specifically request one, then chances are they won't automatically send you one.
