I saw this little tool in the Shepherd's Seed catalog & ordered one today for a gardening friend as a birthday gift. (I remember using her old rusty knife to hack apart her daylilies for her when she wanted them divided & thought she'd enjoy this nice tool.) The write-up says it can cut twine, flower stems, even wire twist-ties, & it folds like a realy big pocket knife. Now that I ordered HER one, I lust for one myself. Anyone else have this tool? I SO love using wonderful tools!

i have used victorinox knives in the kitchen where i work and they are very good knives, so i would guess that the garden knife would be of the same quality. let your friend use it for a while and then ask her her opinion, then decide if you still want to get one for yourself. peace be with you and may your garden stay sharp.
