James, Fascinating. Thank you for educating me on how this works. Is the swarm in your photo made up entirely of bees or is it on something? I take it you are a beekeeper? Barb

Ya, that big cluster is all bees except for the limb they are clinging to.

Yes, I am a small scale, hobby, beekeeper. This year I have five colonies.
