I planted some tomatos in canvas bags and hung them on my porch. Lately I am finding sticks and leaves in the bags, and I finally peeked into one yesterday and I realize some birds are making a home out of it. I wonder if I can get a patch for providing a habitat for wildlife? Ha I put a clove of garlic in the bags yesterday to see if it discourages the birds, but this morning I see they are still at it. Maybe I should leave them alone and considered them little mulchers. Or is that moochers. My canvas bags are my answer to the upside down tomato thread, but they are not planted upside down. So far they are doing well. Can birds hurt my tomato plants or can we all just get along?
