I planted foxtail lilies in the fall - don't know too much about them, just loved the tall spires. Is there anything special I should know? Will they take over the garden and drive me mad?

Also, hellebores: does anyone have them? Any growing tips? can they tolerate partial sun? Can they be planted with Lily of the Valley to fill in under foundation evergreen bushes?
Many thanks again

I live in North Central Texas and my Helebores just love it here. So that must mean that they like pretty dry shade, since I don't pamper my plants. These plants only get morning sun in the Summer (planted under deciduous trees), but they don't seem to mind our extreme Summer heat. Helebores and Columbine are my favorite shade/part shade plants. My Helebores are planted with wood violets in front of Clarissa hollies, in one bed. In another bed with holly ferns and caste iron plant.
