I was replying to someone on Seed Swap, when I realized I should share this info. So I'll put it here and then if the info should go elsewhere maybe one of the 'old timers' can help out.
The web site is "freetreesandplants.com". I won't get the whole story straight, but here's the jist of it - this company hires handicapped people and they get 'overstock' free from nursuries so the only thing they charge is $6.95 for shipping. The carry trees, shrubs, bulbs, etc. I went on the site yesterday and wanted to order 2 nanking cherries but thot I should ask my 'hole digger' first.
I read about them somewhere in one of my many gardening mags. It's a great company from what I've heard. Never ordered though. Now that I have land to landscape I probably will.
