Greetings,

I have one or several pests invading some of my plants, and I want to get an early start Id'ing them and 'addressing' them.

Last year, I had something chewing little holes in my raspberry and mint leaves, and something nibbling the edges of my rhododendron leaves. I looked for pests last year to no avail. I know they'll be back. Any suggestions?

Keep all your plants and walk areas totally mulches, and use lots of intensive companion planting ideas. This cures most pest and disease issues.

For more tougher pest solutions, use a little garlic/hot pepper flavored compost teas as a soil/foliar drench around affected areas.

I guarantee you will not need ANYTHING to repel pests for mint. It is very invasive and very hardy. If you are asking the other way around---what to plant mint next to---some folks think mint improves the flavor of tomatoes, but can't say I've ever tried it. But I bet you get some answers from some who have. Good luck!
