During a recent presentation we were shown a canister of Bt that could be sprinkled on plants. I've called around and can't find it. Farm supply said they had powder packets that you mix with water and spray but that is not meant to be sprinkled directly on the plants

Two questions:

1.Do you have any experience with the powder form of Bt
(to sprinkle on plants) and do you know where to get it?

2. Do you have any experience with the powered form of Bt in packets that is mixed with water and sprayed?

The only Bt I've ever had was liquid.

Michelle, I have used the powder form (mix with water and spray) quite successfully. One of the names it is sold under is Di-Pel. I got mine at a local nursery, Earl May. They have a website earlmay.com where you could probably find it. Earl May is actually a chain here in the midwest, mostly Iowa. I have noticed they are carrying more organic products every year.
