I am starting impatiens from seed in flats under fluorescent lights along with many other plants . The impatiens have sprouted and are up very nicely. The Park Seed catalog suggests limiting impatiens to only 10 hours of light per day. I see no similar suggestion about limiting light on impatiens anywhere else. All other sources I read suggest 16 hours of light per day for just about everything I am growing. What should I do? I am a novice at starting seeds indoors so have no experience to call on. Thanks for any help.
