I'm trying that out now and it's the second night and it's already freezing! I had to post on the bug forum. We'll see what's wrong. Smiler

Really? It's working fine for me so far, at least on Safari. I like the google maps thing, you can see other shared gardens.

Yeah, and he has everyone in the "new gardener's" forum busy writing a glossary for him so he doesn't have to pay any royalties, or give credit.

ctdahle the glossier thread in the new gardener forum is not even related to one in software package. the reason I started that thread is I thought it would be helpful to newbies and would more interesting then the usual word association threads in club og forum.

And even if the glossary were being written by " new gardeners " , that is what keeps the price down. Remember, a lot of time and knowledge goes into writing software. So for ten or fifteen dollers, even twenty, it would still be well worth it. Keep up the progress, and keep us informed.

I like quarter inch graph paper for garden plans--or just a general idea of what to plant where!!!

I'm with Wiley on the graph paper. It's how I've planned all my gardens and if I need to revise things, it can hang out with me in the garden. The computer can't. Of course I could get a laptop....

It should be able to reboot your garden in about August when all the bugs, heat and diseases have gotten too discouraging!

Don't quote me on this, but industry insiders report the code still hangs on the "Hello, World" function. When the bugs are worked out of that all too critical function, then I expect real progress to be made.

What about using something like http://myfolia.com - I found them the other day while looking for some info about my zucchini plants. Haven't used it yet, but it looks like it could do a fair bit of what you have been waiting for with this software - i think the basic features are free to use as well. I'll report back when im done investigating it if you want...
