I realized that I have been picking green peppers and tomatoes steadily for 2-3 weeks. The green peppers I am growing this year are the best producing green peppers I have ever raised. Maybe it was the variety... Must go to South Ashland Greenhouse and ask what I bought in those "Mixed" packages.

I think using the leaves to make garden beds has been the best thing I could do. It allowed me to move my favorite things to just off of the back porch without having to dig. Being that close to the house.. It's easy to water.


Thanks for your tips on spacing peppers, eggplants, onions and opening my eyes to patterns other than rows. DS and I have been enjoying fresh veggies out of the garden ever since the peas came in... I look forward to more information and good harvests. Thank you all!

ditto on the thank you everyone. I used Mumseys Mix this year and have the best zucc's, beautiful plant, green and the leaves stand up like a real plant, the corn is sweet and I have not seen one worm, bug, etc. Tomatoes are just starting to turn red, but they are big also.
