Organic Gardening will upgrade its login and registration system on
December 11. The new system is needed to support some of the major site
enhancements that we are currently developing. The new system is shared with

I have some unwanted Chinese Elm trees growing in places that I don't want them. They are growing in the street next to the curb in front of my house. Also at one corner of my garage, next to a very narrow path that it's crowding. Also by an electric pole in my back yard and is in the way of mowing and keeping the yard neat. How can I eliminate them forever? The trunks are about 1 " - 2 " thick. Thanks
Well no chainsaw needed here! Cut away the tops and spray any potential new growth with vinegar or ethanol alcohol. Dont spray the soil though unless you want to keep the area free of all plants.
