Black streaks on peppers

Very lousy weather in 3, rain, clouds, rain, clouds, humid, planted Jingle Bells, Jalapenos & California Wonder peppers and they grew. The first batch have black streaks. The second are green, normal. Does not affect their firmness but don't look good, if you know what I mean. Could it be a bad amendment I put in? I have no clue. Jingle Bells are starting to redden, must be doing something right. Need help for future. Thanks. Degarden

It depends if the black is a color or dead cell tissue. Some of my peppers have had black coloring that eventually turns to red and they taste fine

In my experience, black discoloration on otherwise healthy peppers is entirely normal. It's especially common on Jalapenos. Sometimes Bell peppers will get it too. Just a cosmetic idiosyncrasy. Does not affect taste or keeping quality.
